The securities fraud attorneys at Colling Gilbert Wright are currently investigating former Cetera Advisors, LLC (“Cetera”) registered representative Christopher Robert Hickman (“Mr. Hickman”), most recently from Delray Beach, Florida. According to FINRA BrokerCheck, Mr. Hickman has at least six customer complaints and was terminated by Cetera in July of 2015. He was subsequently suspended by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (“FINRA”) for allegedly “engaging in an unsuitable pattern of short-term trading of unit investment trust (UITs) in six cusomter accounts.”
Mr. Hickman had been employed in the securities industry for fourteen years with four different firms. In addition to Cetera, he was a registered representative with Raymond James Financial Services, Banc of America Investment Services, Inc. and Cassandra Financial Group. Although he has been suspended from acting as a broker, Mr. Hickman still holds a Series 65 (Registered Investment Advisor Representative) license and is believed to currenlty be the principal of his own firm, Premier Client Investments.
