Representation of Former Newbridge Securities Clients

The Securities Litigation and Negligence Attorneys at Colling Gilbert Wright are currently representing former clients of Newbridge Securities involving investment recommendations by former Winter Park, Florida financial advisor Dean R. Nowak (CRD# 1091819).  The Statement of Claim filed, with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), alleges Mr. Nowak misrepresented the risks associated with investing in illiquid GWG Bonds (now in bankruptcy) as well as allegations including breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, negligence and unsuitability.

According to FINRA BrokerCheck, Mr. Nowak’s report discloses a total of six customer disputes, five of which are still pending. Four of those disputes, including our current complaint, involve the recommendation and sale of alternative investments. The most recent complaint was filed in June 2023 and alleges a breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, negligence, and failure to supervise on the part of brokerage firm.  Three of the other four pending complaints contain similar allegations. Mr. Nowak left Newbridge Securities in September 2022 and is not currently registered with any FINRA member firm.
